Assistance dogs

Official assistance dogs are allowed in the museum. All other dogs cannot be taken into the museum.

Visitors with reduced mobility

The main entrance to the museum can only be accessed via a stairway. If you phone in advance, access to the temporary exhibitions can be arranged via an alternative entrance without any steps. However, the permanent exhibition is only accessible via stairs or using a stair lift. Unfortunately, we do not have a wheelchair-adapted WC or disabled parking.

For visitors with impaired vision and hearing

The museum is approximately 140m from the Marktplatz tram stop. To get to the main entrance of the museum you have to first cross the museum courtyard. The entrance door is not a glass door and the ticket counter is right opposite the main entrance to the museum. The entrance area is small and uncluttered. Obstacles are generally easily discernible. The premises are, for the most part, well-lit.
