Guided tours for school classes

In the general guided tour through the exhibition, the pupils get an overview of the history of pharmacy from ancient times through to the present. Possible areas of focus are:

From plants to active substances
The history of Basel's chemical industry
Paracelsus and alchemy
From Süskind to Tucholsky – the world of pharmacies in literature
Unicorns and other mythical creatures – curiosities from the collection

For school year 6 and over (age 12 years+)
Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Appointments by arrangement.
Duration: 60 minutes
Price: CHF 80 (plus entrance fee)
